Jiaqi Li (Jackie) graduated from the University of British Columbia with a MSc. Food & Nutrition, and found a path and passion in traditional Chinese medicine healing. Upon completing TCM studies in the Vancouver Beijing College of Chinese medicine (2019) Jackie became a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner.

In her treatment practise, Jackie focuses Structural Restoration Therapy, which follows the delicate bone-tuning technique of Dr. Lin Liangchuan, a renowned practitioner in Taiwan. This combines traditional Chinese Orthopaedics with modern fascia theory, featuring as gentle but powerful, pain-free healing. Attention is given to subtle changes in the musculoskeletal and fascia system, supporting the physical pathways of Chi. Acupuncture and manual treatments are applied to “guide” Chi by correcting the position of pathways, and shifting the mind and body into a parasympathetic ‘relaxation’ response allowing the mind and body to unify, necessary for true healing to occur. During studies in China, Jackie apprenticed with an indigenous herbal medicine teacher specializing in sleep disorders and anxiety.

Jackie has a true passion of learning and practising TCM to aid the individual on the healing path and understand body physiology through the heart of healing. In her personal practise, Jackie cultivates self care in meditation and traditional exercises including Tai-chi.
