A graduate (2007) of BC West Coast College of Massage Therapy’s 3,000-hour training, Jannie has 18 years clinical experience treating complex pain and trauma. Including a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions: frozen shoulder, bursitis, fibromyalgia, sports injuries, strains and sprains, arthritis, migraines, disc herniations, whiplash, TMJ dysfunction, osteoporosis, and nerve-related syndromes such as carpal tunnel, thoracic outlet syndrome, and sciatica.

Approaching 20 years of clinical practise, Jannie implements compassion and wisdom in her treatment approach, guiding countless individuals through the landscape of healing — from physical recovery to the subtle realms of restoring nervous system function. Her treatment approach balances the gross and subtle energetic body: muscles, fascia, and meridians for true healing of the individual.

With a devotion to lifelong learning, Jannie weaves together the scientific and the soulful. She has participated in Dr. Gabor Maté’s year-long Compassionate Inquiry program, is certified in Dr. Stephen Porges’ Safe and Sound Protocol, and has collaborated with FieldTrip Health in psychedelic-assisted therapy integration. Ever curious, she continues to explore leading-edge modalities such as Internal Family Systems by Dr. Richard Schwartz.

Grounded in trauma-informed care, Jannie’s approach honours safety, consent, and presence. She has also had the privilege of working alongside First Nations communities, supporting healing processes that bridge traditional wisdom and modern therapeutic practice.

Known for her empathy and gentle humour, Jannie affectionately calls herself a “recovering workshop-aholic” — still joyfully following her fascination with how touch, awareness, and compassion restore natural wholeness.
